Sludge collection and transport in the Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto Oy service area

Summary

Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto Oy is procuring the collection of sludge from septic tanks, holding tanks, small wastewater treatment plants and other collection systems, and its transport to Gasum’s receiving facility in Turku. The contract is divided into three lots: Kaarina, southern Lieto and Naantali, with estimated annual emptying volumes of 600, 600 and 1,900 respectively. The Kaarina and southern Lieto contracts are scheduled from 5 April 2027 to 2 February 2031, and the Naantali contract from 5 April 2027 to 3 April 2033; each may be extended by 1–24 months by option.
