Contract rearing of valuable fish, 2027–2031

Summary

The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is procuring contract fish-rearing services under a framework agreement for 2027–2031, covering 13 lots of salmon, sea trout, lake trout, landlocked salmon and Arctic char juveniles from specified rivers and watersheds. The fish are to be reared from eggs, with production starting in 2027–2030; lots cover one-year river juveniles and, where specified, two-year migratory juveniles. Estimated annual quantities may vary with egg availability and rearing outcomes, and Luke does not undertake to order a minimum quantity.
