UPS and Supercapacitor

Summary

Kainuu Wellbeing Services County is procuring a combined UPS and supercapacitor system for Kainuu Central Hospital. The system will limit and manage power peaks when the CT scanner is connected to the backup power network, so that the current drawn from the network does not exceed 3 × 125–140 A. The equipment is to be sized using the technical data, delivered and implemented by the end of 2026, and commissioned by early 2027; one supplier will be selected.
