Summary

The procurement covers hazardous-waste management services for the University of Helsinki and the Biomedicum Helsinki properties. It is divided into two lots: chemical and other laboratory hazardous waste, and biological and clinical waste. Services include providing containers and labels, preparing transport documents, marking and packing waste at collection points, transport, recovery or treatment, cost-centre-based invoicing, reporting and quantity and quality monitoring. Annual volumes may vary, and the contract does not guarantee minimum purchases.
