Oulu Road Maintenance Contract 2027–2032

Summary

The Employment, Development and Administration Centre is procuring the management and maintenance of approximately 1,285 km of roads in the Oulu contract area from 2027 to 2032. The contract covers summer and winter road maintenance, including about 170 km of walking and cycling routes, water management tasks, and keeping the ferry route between Oulunsalo and Hailuoto open during the winter months. The contractor will also manage maintenance activities and procure the required maintenance work; quality management and the optimisation of anti-skid chemicals will be developed using a decision-support system.
