Business impact assessment – Renewal of changing-room buildings

Summary

This is a market consultation and request for comments concerning Turku’s planned procurement of changing-room buildings for outdoor sports facilities; it is not a contract notice or a request for tenders. The city is considering changing-room buildings in two approximate sizes, 27 m² and 85 m², for up to 21 sports fields in different parts of Turku. The buildings would become city property, and one design-and-build contractor is planned to be responsible for both design and construction as a single integrated delivery. The planned contract period is 1 December 2026 to 1 December 2028, with a two-year option for additional purchases. The estimated value is approximately EUR 2,000,000 excluding VAT for the contract period. Companies are invited to provide comments on the business impacts of the planned procurement through the linked questionnaire by 8 October 2026. Responses are generally public after contract award, so trade secrets should be clearly identified when submitting a response.
