Replacement of street lights owned by the Municipality of Sodankylä

Summary

The procurement concerns the replacement of 353 street-lighting points owned by the Municipality of Sodankylä, with the sites located in the central village area. The contractor is responsible for procuring the required equipment and carrying out the installation. Existing lighting that must be retained in the work area must be preserved. Any additional C2 lighting control systems may be ordered and installed separately during the contract period as hourly-rate work. Installation must be completed by 23 December 2026. The work must comply with Finnish legislation, applicable standards and the quality requirements of InfraRYL 2022, particularly InfraRYL 2025/2 section 33000. The person responsible for the installation must have suitable electrical training and at least two years of relevant work experience; the contractor must be registered with Tukes and have at least S2 electrical qualification or equivalent rights. The lowest total price is the sole basis for comparing tenders. A delay penalty of 0.25% of the VAT-exclusive total price per working day may apply, for a maximum of 90 working days.
