Procurement of electricity

Summary

The tender concerns the physical procurement and open supply of electricity for the wellbeing services counties of Kanta-Häme and Pirkanmaa and for Tuomi Logistiikka Oy. The supplier will be responsible for electricity portfolio management and price hedging, operational implementation and development of the energy procurement strategy, reporting, and the procurement of guarantees of origin. The supply covers approximately 410 consumption sites and an estimated annual electricity consumption of 84,000 MWh. The tender submission deadline is 21 August 2026 at 09:00. Physical electricity deliveries will start on 1 January 2028, the main contract will run until 31 December 2031, and it may be extended by two one-year option periods. The estimated contract value is EUR 40,000,000.
