Design and construction of the new Vall d’Aro fire station

Summary

Infraestructures de la Generalitat de Catalunya is procuring the basic and detailed design and subsequent construction of a new fire station in Vall d’Aro under a single mixed contract, with no lots. The design phase includes geotechnical work, safety and health studies, environmental-licence activity documentation, BIM development and energy-performance certification; construction includes the building, modular industrialised works, site development and adjustments to existing conditions. The works budget is €4,006,877.74 excluding VAT, including €3,441,627.74 for the building and €565,250 for site development and existing-condition adjustments; the separate design budget is €245,540.72 excluding VAT. Design delivery is scheduled over 12 months and construction may take up to 15 months; possible authorised modification designs are also within scope, up to a maximum of €49,108.14 excluding VAT.
