Content preparation for the second volume of the Encyclopaedia of Ceramic Technology
Summary
The procurement is for a service to prepare content on raw materials used to manufacture ceramic bodies for the second volume of the Encyclopaedia of Ceramic Technology. The Spanish-language digital text must be at least 200 pages long and contain at least 50 images. It must cover the raw materials’ physicochemical and mineralogical properties, their effects on processing and firing, their roles in ceramic body compositions, variations due to origin, and practical examples. The contract lasts two years from 1 January 2027 or, if later, from the date of signature; no extension is available. The estimated total budget is €53,240 including VAT, of which €44,000 is excluding VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, submit a work plan and timetable, and list experts with research and development experience in ceramic technology. Evaluation covers the work plan, the quality of the text and images, layout, price and the number of experts offered. Bids must be submitted electronically; the work is delivered digitally, and the successful bidder grants exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the content.
