Services for the 54th International Botillo Festival, 2027

Summary

Bembibre is procuring services for the 54th International Botillo Festival in 2027, divided into two lots. Lot 1 covers catering: the main dinner on 30 January for approximately 1,600 people, including meals and drinks, alternative meals for guests with dietary intolerances, and catering at the food fair in Bembibre Arena on 29–31 January. The main dinner menu is capped at €40 per person including VAT; the fair menu is capped at €14 per person including VAT and must include Botillo as the main course. Lot 2 covers decoration at two pavilions and the rental, installation, lighting, heating and flooring of marquees and smaller tents, together with other necessary equipment. The total budget is up to €96,000 including VAT: up to €64,000 for Lot 1 and €32,000 for Lot 2. Bidders may tender for either or both lots. For catering, price scores up to 60 points and a work plan, optional improvements and product description of no more than ten pages score up to 40 points. The marquee and decoration lot is evaluated solely on price, up to 100 points. Bids must be submitted on paper. The submission period is at least 15 calendar days from publication of the contract notice; bidders sending their bids by post must notify the contracting authority on the same day. The catering bidder must provide at least one waiter for every two tables. Installation work at the pavilions and for the marquees begins on 18 January and must generally be completed by 29 January 2027; the main event takes place on 30 January.
