Cleaning, waste management and pest control services for Maresme healthcare facilities

Summary

The contract covers cleaning, internal waste handling and oversight of external waste management, and management of pest control at the Maresme Health Consortium’s hospital and other healthcare, mental health and care facilities. The services include, among other things, cleaning the hospital 24 hours a day, year-round; sorting, labelling and moving healthcare waste; supplying cleaning products and equipment; quality and microbiological checks; and digital tracking of attendance, hospital discharges, service requests and reporting. The cleaning service also includes daily replenishment of washroom hygiene supplies and waste bags; certain work, such as post-construction cleaning, is billed separately. The procurement is a single lot, runs for four years from the planned start date of 1 January 2027, and may be extended by one year. The estimated tender budget is EUR 25,163,242.30 excluding VAT (EUR 30,447,523.17 including VAT); offers are assessed on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. Participation requires the prescribed qualification evidence, tender documents and a mandatory visit to Mataró University Hospital.
