IT technical support services for research centres and institutes

Summary

The procurement covers IT support and systems administration in three lots for three Spanish National Research Council establishments: the Sols-Morreale Biomedical Research Institute in Madrid (Lot 1), the Blanes Centre for Advanced Studies (Lot 2), and the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Seville, including the La Hampa experimental farm (Lot 3). Services include user support and incident resolution, installation and maintenance of workstations and equipment, inventory management, network and server administration, and, where relevant, maintenance and development of applications and information systems. Services are mainly delivered on site. The contract runs for 18 months: Lot 1 is planned to start on 16 February 2027, and Lots 2 and 3 on 1 February 2027. It may be extended by up to 18 months in periods of nine months. The total budget is €481,320 excluding VAT; the budgets are €248,418, €155,268 and €77,634 excluding VAT for Lots 1, 2 and 3 respectively. Bids are evaluated on price, additional staff experience, extra hours, and control and monitoring systems. Bidders must meet the relevant turnover, previous-experience and staff-competence requirements and provide the specified personnel. Bids must be submitted electronically, and the service provider must comply with the personal-data protection, equal-treatment and employment-related contract conditions.
