Water supply pipeline from Queirúa to Castrelos
Summary
The contract covers construction of a water-supply pipeline from Queirúa to Castrelos along an existing municipal road. The works include installing 1,685 m of 110 mm high-density polyethylene pipe rated at 16 atmospheres and 940 m of 90 mm pipe of the same material and pressure rating, fitting 9 gate valves and 2 pressure-reducing valves, and cleaning ditches and providing drainage. The works also include a 20 m trenchless crossing and reinstatement of affected road surfaces using a 20 cm crushed-stone base, 15 cm of gravel, a semi-deep asphalt treatment and 5 cm of hot-mix asphalt. The completion period is 6 months. The estimated contract value is €92,948.33 excluding VAT; the total budget is €112,467.48 including €19,519.15 VAT. This is an open procedure with one lot, and bids must be submitted electronically. Tenderers must demonstrate financial and technical capacity and submit work-planning, environmental, quality-control and health-and-safety materials. Evaluation covers price, an extended warranty, a justified reduction in the execution period and the quality of the technical plans; bidders must score at least 50% of the available Phase I points to proceed.
