Design and construction supervision of the inner breakwater at the Port of Vilanova i la Geltrú

Summary

The contract covers the design of a new inner breakwater for the commercial basin at the Port of Vilanova i la Geltrú, together with technical assistance in supervising its construction and coordinating occupational health and safety. The work has three stages: a BIM execution plan and preliminary design, including alternatives, required surveys and cost estimates; a BIM model and construction project with calculations, drawings, technical specifications and budget; and construction supervision and safety coordination. The construction-stage services will proceed and be paid for only if the works procurement results in an appointed contractor. The assignment also includes quality, environmental, technical and financial monitoring of the works. Documents must be submitted in Catalan and Spanish, and use of the BIM methodology is mandatory. The contract runs for up to two years and has an estimated value of €64,025.38 excluding VAT (€77,470.71 including VAT). Tenderers must demonstrate the required turnover and civil-engineering experience and provide a suitably qualified and experienced team with BIM expertise. Offers are evaluated on price (40 points) and quality-related criteria (60 points).
