Health insurance services for the Aragon Institute of Technology

Summary

The tender seeks an insurer to provide one year of collective health insurance for employees of the Aragon Institute of Technology (ITA) and their spouses, partners and children. The estimated membership is 154 employees and 145 family members, and the actual number may change during the contract. Cover must apply throughout Spain and abroad, 24 hours a day, and include at least primary and specialist care, surgical and hospital care, preventive medicine and diagnostics. There must be no waiting periods or co-payments at the outset, and insured persons must be able to choose doctors and healthcare facilities within the proposed provider network. Additional points may be awarded for reimbursing 60% of medicine costs up to €300 per insured person per year; unlimited rehabilitation, physiotherapy and podiatry; a second medical opinion for serious or complex conditions; medically required trauma and breast prostheses or reconstruction without limits; diagnosis and treatment of the specified cancers; home palliative care; higher reimbursement for consultations and travel assistance; a daily hospitalisation benefit; and access to the University of Navarra Clinic in Navarra or Madrid. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and experience providing at least two similar collective health-insurance services during the last three years.
