Cleaning services for the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias

Summary

The contract covers cleaning services for the buildings and premises of the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias for 36 months. The sites are Velarde Palace, Casa Oviedo-Portal, the museum extension and the Cimadevilla storage facility in Oviedo; the contract is not divided into lots. Weekday cleaning covers the museum’s premises, while Saturday cleaning is limited to entrances, reception areas and public toilets. The contractor must also clean glazing and light fittings twice a month, sort waste for recycling, and remove dust from walls, ceilings, columns, courtyards and drainage areas at least once a year. Ordinary service is capped at 5,490 hours per year. The contractor must provide sufficient staff, cleaning products, machinery, tools and workwear. Cleaning products must meet the specified environmental and safety requirements. The contractor must supervise the service regularly and send monthly inspection reports. Existing cleaning staff must be taken over in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Participation is reserved for social-initiative special employment centres and work-integration enterprises meeting the conditions set out in the tender documents. The initial term is three years, with extensions possible up to a total maximum of five years. The estimated contract value is EUR 309,654.06 excluding VAT, and the total budget ceiling is EUR 374,681.41 including VAT. Price carries up to 80 points; up to 100 free additional hours per year for urgent or extraordinary cleaning requests carry up to 20 points. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and previous cleaning-service experience and submit the required declarations and supporting documents.
