Electricity supply to the municipality of Barbadás consumption points
Summary
The contract covers electricity supply to the municipality of Barbadás’s existing consumption points and any new points added during the contract. The supplier must also arrange grid-access agreements, coordinate the change of supplier, oversee meter data, provide customer support and supply detailed electronic billing data. The procurement has one lot and covers 96 consumption points, with an estimated total annual consumption of 1,625,915 kWh. The contract runs for one year, with an option to extend it for a further year. The tender budget is €344,007.18 including taxes; the estimated contract value, including a possible extension and a 5% increase for new connections, is €597,037.24. Pricing is indexed to the OMIE market price, and bidders must quote separate management-cost factors for each of the three consumption blocks. Bids are evaluated on price (95 points) and the share of electricity from renewable sources or high-efficiency cogeneration (5 points). Bidders must be authorised electricity suppliers registered with the CNMC and must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity. The bid must cover every consumption point, follow the prescribed form and be submitted electronically. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the awarded price excluding VAT.
