Summary

The procurement covers the supply and installation of four outdoor escalators and two accessible 630 kg lifts for eight people at Renfe Viajeros’ San Fernando-Bahía Sur station. The works also include associated electrical, lighting, telecommunications, fire-protection and control systems, as well as adapting a fixed staircase. The contractor must then provide five years of all-risk preventive and corrective maintenance for all six units, including work arising from vandalism and external causes under the procedure set out in the tender documents. The contract may last up to 73 months: up to 13 months for installation and five years for maintenance; the installation works carry a three-year warranty. The maximum tender price is €2,453,302.90 excluding VAT (€2,968,496.51 including VAT). Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover, technical capacity and relevant experience, and submit, among other items, a detailed preventive-maintenance plan.
