Navigation risk insurance for the SASEMAR fleet

Summary

The tender is for insurance covering navigation risks for the maritime rescue and maritime safety fleet owned by SASEMAR. The policy must cover vessel hull and machinery, electronic navigation equipment and the specified risks, including liability, war and strikes; it also covers, among other things, crew baggage, goods and equipment in transit, and ISAR project equipment. Participation is open to insurers holding the required authorisation and able to demonstrate economic and technical capacity. The bid must state the annual premium for each vessel and the insurance rates used, and meet the technical minimum requirements. Evaluation awards up to 70 points for the financial offer, 15 for reducing deductibles, 5 for the insurer’s rating and 10 for other improvements to coverage. No provisional guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide a definitive guarantee equal to 5% of the contract award amount.
