Maintenance of the Cantabria Tax Agency’s fire-protection equipment

Summary

The procurement covers maintenance of the fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire-safety signage at the Spanish Tax Agency’s premises and official vehicles in Cantabria for one year, from 1 January to 31 December 2027. The work includes the statutory routine maintenance schedule, including quarterly, half-yearly, annual and five-yearly tasks, and pressure testing of the extinguishers listed in the tender documents. Equivalent temporary equipment must be provided while an extinguisher is being pressure-tested or repaired. The contract description also includes replacing extinguishers that have reached the end of their service life. The sites are in Santander, Torrelavega, Laredo and Reinosa, including tax-office premises, rooms within the port area and official vehicles. The contractor must report detected faults within 24 hours. It must attend a site within 24 hours after being notified of a fault, or within 4 hours in urgent cases. Requested technical reports and repair or refill quotations must be provided within 48 hours. Once a repair or refill quotation is approved, the work must normally be completed within 3 working days. Repairs and extinguisher refills are excluded from the contract price and will be invoiced separately; repairs must carry a warranty of at least one year. Price accounts for 90% of the evaluation. The remaining 10% is available for a commitment to prepare, free of charge, an inventory of the fire-protection equipment within the first six months of the contract. The inventory must be in Excel and PDF formats, include equipment details and be accompanied by plans showing equipment locations. The contract is not divided into lots. The maximum budget, including VAT, is EUR 10,270.26, and bids must be submitted electronically.
