Sponsorship of the Spain–Czechia match in the 2027 UEFA Nations League in Oviedo

The tender concerns sponsorship by Oviedo City Council of an official UEFA Nations League league-phase football match between the Spain men’s senior national team and Czechia, to be played on 3 October 2026 at the Nuevo Carlos Tartiere Stadium in Oviedo. In return for a contribution of EUR 50,000 excluding VAT, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) must provide Oviedo with sponsorship rights and advertising opportunities: allow the use of the national team’s name and distinctive signs, and archival images of at least five players in official kit, subject to prior approval; provide one minute of advertising on the LED system during the match and a 15-second stadium-screen advertisement; designate the city as an institutional sponsor; allow promotional campaigns using merchandise subject to approval; and mention or tag the city in at least one publication promoting the match. The estimated value is EUR 50,000 excluding VAT, or EUR 60,500 including 21% VAT; payment is made in a single instalment after performance and acceptance. The contract is being awarded through a negotiated procedure without prior publication because the RFEF holds the exclusive rights to organise the match. Price is the sole award criterion, and negotiations are limited to the final price. The bidder must meet the turnover and relevant experience requirements and submit the required declarations and price offer. For advertising and merchandise materials, reusable or lower-impact materials must be prioritised and single-use plastics avoided where possible.
