Supply of a plug-in hybrid SUV for the Castro-Urdiales Local Police

Summary

The Municipality of Castro-Urdiales is purchasing one new four-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid SUV for its Local Police, for daily duties, public safety and other police work. The vehicle price must not exceed EUR 54,400 including VAT; EUR 13,687.20 is partly funded by a grant from the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. Delivery is required in Castro-Urdiales within 15 calendar days, counted from the day after the contract is signed. The vehicle must have a petrol plug-in hybrid powertrain, automatic transmission and four-wheel drive; engine capacity must be at least 1,330 cc, power at least 140 hp, and electric range in the combined cycle at least 50 km. It must have five doors, approximate dimensions of 1,825 mm wide, 1,600 mm high and 4,500 mm long, and the specified passenger, safety, driver-assistance, comfort and connectivity features. The supplier must install police equipment, including LED visual and audible warning systems, a compatible mobile radio, emergency and safety accessories, and a boot adapted with durable materials. Police equipment must be properly installed, approved and inspected. Technical characteristics are worth up to 25 points and the bid price up to 75 points. Bidders must meet the financial and relevant previous-supply experience requirements and submit a technical description separately from the price offer. Vehicles that fail to meet the minimum technical specifications will be excluded from evaluation.
