Renewal of children’s playgrounds, calisthenics and outdoor fitness areas in municipal parks

Summary

The tender covers the supply and installation of equipment and materials to renew children’s playgrounds, calisthenics areas and outdoor fitness areas in municipal parks in Cuenca. It is divided into three lots: the children’s play, calisthenics and outdoor fitness area in Santa Ana Park; the children’s play and calisthenics area in Dos Ríos Park; and the calisthenics area in La Melgosa. The work also includes project-based civil works and, as applicable to each lot, surfacing and fencing. The total budget including VAT is €405,197.22; the budgets including VAT are €130,714.12, €248,550.50 and €25,932.60 respectively. Bidders may submit offers for one or all three lots, and up to three lots may be awarded to one bidder. The contract must be completed within six months of signature. Price carries up to 60 points and an extended warranty period up to 40 points. The award criteria state a minimum warranty period of two years; an offer of a shorter period will be excluded. An additional year, for a total of three years, scores 5 points; two additional years, for four years total, scores 15 points; and three additional years, for five years total, scores 40 points. A separate electronic rendering showing the proposed completed area is required for each lot. The same main play element may not be repeated across the bidder’s children’s play areas for different lots, except for play areas in outlying settlements. During performance, waste must be sorted by type and documentary evidence provided, and the contractor must observe the workforce-retention condition subject to the exceptions set out in the tender documents.
