Acquisition of a modular scanning probe microscopy platform

Summary

The tender covers the supply, transport, installation, commissioning, functional verification and user training for one complete modular scanning probe microscopy platform for the University of Castilla-La Mancha. The Nanosurf FlexAFM V5+ Extended system must include a 100 µm scan head, a C3000i controller and AFM, SThM, KPFM, PFM, MFM/EFM, c-AFM and SSRM measurement modes, temperature control, a motorised stage, active vibration isolation and an acoustic enclosure. All accessories, licences, cables, initial consumables and documentation needed for full operation must also be supplied. The system is intended for topographic, thermal, electrical, magnetic and piezoelectric characterisation of materials, with an operating temperature range of –35 to 180 °C. It must be ready for future manufacturer upgrades, including heating to 250 °C and application of a magnetic field. The supplier is responsible for the compatibility and performance of the integrated system, installation and configuration of the equipment and software, acceptance testing, on-site training, and delivery of operating and maintenance manuals, calibration evidence and other required documentation. Delivery, installation and commissioning must be completed within four months of contract formalisation at the university’s Toledo campus. The minimum warranty is 24 months. The estimated contract value is EUR 149,990 excluding VAT, and the maximum budget is EUR 181,487.90 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion.
