Manufacture, supply and installation of corridor carpets for the Paradores in Segovia and Ayamonte

Summary

The contract covers the manufacture, supply and installation of new carpets in the corridors and common areas of the Paradores de Turismo in Segovia and Ayamonte. It is divided into two separately awarded lots: approximately 800 m² for Segovia and approximately 479 m² for Ayamonte. The work includes removing the existing carpets and taking them to an authorised waste facility, preparing the substrate, and installing the new carpets. Both properties will remain open during the work, so installation must be scheduled in coordination with their management. The Segovia lot requires hand-tufted carpet made of 100% New Zealand wool, with a pile height of 14 mm and an approximate total height of 16 mm, suitable for heavy traffic; proof of fire classification Bb1 S1 is required. The Ayamonte lot requires flat-woven carpet made of 90% polypropylene and 10% polyester, suitable for underfloor heating, antistatic and fire-rated Efl. For both lots, the carpet must have a linear design using five colours to be selected later. For each lot bid for, the bidder must submit a complete offer, technical information and price breakdown, carpet samples, and a work and delivery programme. The price offer must cover all work and include unit prices; price is the sole award criterion. The maximum price excluding VAT is EUR 85,000 for Segovia, EUR 26,000 for Ayamonte and EUR 111,000 for both lots. Manufacturing must take no more than 45 calendar days from contract signature; installation must take no more than 45 calendar days after manufacture and approval of the items. The successful bidder must provide a 5% guarantee before contract signature. The warranty period is 36 months.
