Comprehensive maintenance of electromedical equipment and repair materials in Guadalajara

Summary

The tender covers comprehensive maintenance of the electromedical equipment used by the Integrated Care Management of Guadalajara, together with the spare parts and materials needed for repairs. The contractor must provide preventive and corrective maintenance, maintain equipment reliability and safety, and minimise service interruptions. Maintenance must be carried out by technicians whose knowledge and competence are officially recognised by the manufacturers. The estimated contract value, including a possible 20% modification and the 12-month extension, is €4,739,019.20 excluding VAT. Prices will not be indexed. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of the best price-quality ratio: price carries 55 points; the remaining points are allocated to service mobilisation and management (9), preventive and legally required maintenance (5), corrective maintenance (5), organisation of technical and human resources (5), reporting, management dashboards and inventory management (9), training courses (2), manufacturers’ technical cooperation and equipment certificates (5), and on-site technician hours (5). Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €1,225,608 and relevant experience worth at least the same amount. A final performance guarantee of 5% of the awarded amount excluding VAT is required. The tender documents provide for an additional fifth technician and for all staff absences to be covered from the first day. The listed incumbent staff comprise four full-time employees on permanent contracts: an industrial technical engineer, two first-grade maintenance technicians and one second-grade maintenance technician.
