Neutorstraße – Am Delft, Emden: Fountain technology (Phase 2)

Summary

The City of Emden is procuring the water-engineering renovation of the Fürbringer Fountain at Neutorstraße–Am Delft and construction of a new mist-nozzle area. The works include dismantling existing equipment and the reservoir, building a new underground technical chamber and reservoir, restoring the fountain’s stone surround, and installing new water, electrical and drainage systems. The scope includes the fountain circulation system with two white-water jets and two lion-head outlets, a new mist system with 12 flush-mounted nozzles arranged in four groups, as well as commissioning, planning and documentation.
