Operational management of procurement processes related to the COVID-19 pandemic

Summary

Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health is procuring operational management to wind down and document procurement activities undertaken in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The service covers administration of contracts for medical supplies and equipment, logistics and stock management, invoice processing and reporting, quality assurance, donations, and related tax, customs and legal support. The work spans Germany and, in part, China; the current logistics operation covers around 36,000 pallet spaces at four warehouse locations and recorded 1,130 truck transports in the previous 12 months. The procurement is not divided into lots.
