Boiler cleaning – 2027 overhaul

Summary

The Zweckverband waste-to-energy plant of the City and District of Bamberg is procuring the annual cleaning and overhaul work for the boilers on its three incineration lines in 2027. The work includes cleaning boilers, air ducts, flue-gas passes, filters and conveyors; abrasive blasting; preparation for wall-thickness measurement; refractory masonry removal; and dry-ice cleaning of waste and slag crane systems. Subject to satisfactory performance, the contract may be extended twice for one year, to cover 2028 and 2029.
