Procurement of a Digital Learning Factory

Summary

The City of Dortmund is procuring equipment for a digital Industry 4.0 learning factory at Robert Bosch Vocational College. The supply includes 16 programmable-controller trainer boards with teaching panels and touch displays of at least 13 inches, 8 gantry-crane models, and production-line and automation training equipment: stations for parts retrieval, processing, quality inspection, and storage and packaging, as well as control-technology models, frequency inverters with a conveyor or lifting device, sensor panels, and safety-application panels. The systems will support both standalone and networked production-process training and the storage of production data in a database.
