Merheim Hospital – Renovation of Bed Building 20, A-Side Building Automation-3 (MSR-3)

Summary

The tender concerns the installation of building automation for the A-side of Bed Building 20 at Merheim Hospital in Cologne. The works cover automation stations on floors 2–10, control and distribution cabinets, field devices, cabling, integration with the existing building-management system, programming, commissioning, testing, documentation and user training. The estimated value is EUR 630,000 excluding VAT, and the site is Ostmerheimer Straße 200, Cologne-Merheim. The planned implementation period is from 5 October 2026 to 31 December 2027. Business liability insurance must provide minimum cover of EUR 2,000,000 per insured event for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, with an annual aggregate of at least twice those amounts. The tender must be submitted electronically in German by 16 September 2026 at 14:00. The tender must remain valid for 41 days. Price is the only award criterion, with a weighting of 100%. Alternative tenders are permitted, but multiple tenders are not permitted. Hospital operations must continue during the works, so bidders must account for restricted access, strict safety and noise requirements, German-speaking site supervision and the hospital’s construction rules.
