Demolition of existing buildings at An der Friedenseiche 4 primary school (Lot 2-0003)

Summary

The tender concerns demolition of the existing buildings at the Rückmarsdorf primary school at An der Friedenseiche 4 in Leipzig. The work includes clearing the school building, old sports hall and ancillary buildings, removing building services, demolishing the buildings and foundations, removing surface paving and underground structures, sorting, transporting and properly handling the waste. It also includes reinforcing the neighbouring garage wall before demolishing an ancillary building; dismantling and storing the bicycle shelter, gate and ball-stop fences for reuse; and backfilling excavations and reinstating the site. The main building has a volume of approximately 2,000 m³ and the ancillary building 375 m³; the works also include demolition of 2,360 m² of surface paving and 105 m³ of shafts or underground structures. One quarter of the windows must be removed and three quarters retained in agreement with the contracting authority; 50% of the roof covering is to be removed and 50% retained. Fill material must be proven uncontaminated, recycled material is not permitted, and the compaction degree must exceed 97% DPr. The bid must include the demolition method statement, waste-disposal plan and required competence evidence for hazardous-material work. Price is the sole award criterion; a 15% evaluation bonus applies to workshops for people with disabilities. Variant bids are not permitted.
