Demolition and hazardous materials remediation at Viktoriabad, University of Bonn

Summary

Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW is procuring hazardous-material remediation, internal strip-out and phased demolition works at the former Viktoriabad complex in Bonn. The scope includes removing asbestos, mineral-fibre insulation, PAHs, PCBs and other hazardous materials; demolishing building systems and structures; installing shoring and protective measures; and sorting, transporting and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including recovery of scrap metal. The building has an approximate gross floor area of 10,850 m² and gross volume of 41,600 m³, and the heritage-protected Belderberg façade must be safeguarded.
