A38 carriageway renewal between Lützen and Leipzig-Südost, subsection 2, Lot 1: Earthworks and pavement construction

Summary

The works cover Lot 1 of the renewal of the Dresden-bound carriageway of the A38 between the Lützen and Leipzig-Südost interchanges, subsection 2, from km 193.6 to km 201.3. The scope includes earthworks and pavement construction, traffic management arrangements and median crossovers, renewal of the concrete pavement and the Leipzig-Südwest interchange, renewal of the asphalt pavement and the Neue Harth interchange, and subsequent removal of the temporary traffic arrangements. Work is scheduled to begin by 1 March 2027 and finish by 7 December 2027, with phase milestones from 19 March to 29 October 2027.
