Natural Gas Supply 2028–2030

Summary

The tender covers the supply of gas, including use of the distribution network, to Klinikum Fürth’s consumption sites from 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2030, with and without registered metering. The supply is technically divided into lots, but the contract will be awarded for all lots together. Pricing is based on an indexed gas commodity price and the bidder’s surcharge; the NCG natural gas year-futures settlement price on 25 November 2026 is used as the reference for evaluation. Price accounts for 80% of the evaluation and a concept for ensuring secure gas supply throughout the contract accounts for 20%. The concept must be submitted with the bid and may not exceed five A4 pages. Alternative bids are not permitted. The bidder must submit, among other items, completed price sheets, a gas product sheet, a suitability declaration, confirmation that the minimum suitability criteria are met, and the supply-security concept. Participation requires evidence of financial capacity through recent financial statements or suitable alternative evidence, comparable gas-supply experience during the previous three years, and a very good credit rating.
