Improving the reliability of the electricity supply at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry – power installations

Summary

Max Planck Society is procuring works to improve the reliability of the electricity supply at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried. The two lots cover medium-voltage installations and an emergency power system. The works include approximately 60 medium-voltage switchgear panels, five 630 kVA transformers, 6,500 m of medium-voltage cable, 6,000 m of control and fibre-optic cable, 30 low-voltage switchgear panels, 2,500 m of low-voltage cable, around 500 m² of electrical and communications installations, and two 1,900 kVA diesel generators with emergency power controls. Inspection, maintenance and fault-response services are also included.
