Dragonfly species monitoring in Saxony-Anhalt under the Habitats Directive, 2027–2029

Summary

The State Office for Environmental Protection of Saxony-Anhalt is commissioning monitoring of eight dragonfly species listed in Annexes II and IV of the Habitats Directive during 2027–2029. The work covers surveys at 152 monitoring areas and sampling units, assessment of population conservation status, and digital documentation of the results, including database and GIS data. The results are to be submitted in two interim reports and a final scientific report, with interim deliverables due by 30 October 2027 and 1 November 2028, and the final results by 1 November 2029.
