Extension of the Youth Forensic Treatment Facility

Summary

Pfalzklinikum für Psychiatrie und Neurologie is planning an extension to its youth forensic treatment facility in Klingenmünster. The project comprises a two-storey new building with a partially underground, waterproof-concrete basement, an entrance area and a sports hall, using in-situ concrete, semi-precast concrete elements and masonry. The building design includes different ceiling finishes and acoustic ceiling systems for the facility’s various rooms.
