Microsoft licenses framework agreement

Summary

The procurement concerns the award of a Microsoft licenses framework agreement under the BMI Enterprise Agreement for the Rhein-Erft-Kreis. The framework covers the purchase of licenses with Software Assurance, the extension of Software Assurance, and other available services under the Enterprise Agreement, including Server & Cloud Enrollment and related value-added services from the licensor Microsoft. The supplier must deliver licenses and related services in accordance with the BMI/Microsoft Enterprise Agreement framework, and ensure activation of ordered software via Key Management Service (KMS) and, where available, via Multiple Activation Key (MAK). The framework agreement starts on 01 December 2026 and lasts up to four years (until 30 November 2030). The contracting authority may terminate the framework in text form three months before the end of each contract year; individual calls remain governed by the framework terms after termination. Awards are based on the economically most advantageous tender, with details and criteria specified in the tender documents. The procurement will be conducted electronically via the NRW procurement portal and may include lots or calls for orders.
