Wheel loader rental

Summary

The procurement is for the four-year rental of two Cat 966 XE wheel loaders for the sludge-drying facility at the Bottrop wastewater treatment plant. The loaders will move dewatered sludge into the drying halls and transport dried sludge back to the logistics hall. The monthly rental price must include 120 operating hours per machine and full service; additional hours will be charged according to actual use, with an estimated allowance of up to 360 extra hours per machine per year. The price must include manufacturer-prescribed inspections, wear parts and wear-related repairs, all-risk machinery-breakdown insurance with a EUR 2,500 excess, and an availability and replacement-machine commitment. The technical specification includes machines with an operating weight of approximately 23,200 kg, robust 6 m³ buckets, corrosion protection and a BMair MAO-3C cab protection ventilation system with at least an H13 HEPA filter and at least 10 kg of activated carbon. One machine must have joystick control and the other keypad control. Both machines must be delivered no later than six months after contract award. If a machine fails, restoration work must begin within 24 hours; if it is not operational within 48 hours, an at least equivalent replacement loader must be supplied at no additional cost. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted in German using the prescribed forms through the electronic tendering platform; an eligibility declaration and evidence of comparable work over the last three years, including three references if requested, are required.
