EU-wide tender for the recovery of PPK

Summary

The tender concerns the collection, transport and material recovery of waste paper, cardboard and board in five lots from 1 January 2027. Lots 1–4 cover approximately 11,000–12,000 Mg per year, with an evaluation quantity of 11,500 Mg/year; Lot 5 covers 3,500–4,500 Mg per year in Troisdorf, with an evaluation quantity of 4,000 Mg/year. The contractor must arrange collection, transport, any necessary sorting and disposal of residues, and provide evidence of recovery in accordance with the applicable requirements. Suitable vehicle technology must be used, such as walking-floor vehicles or semi-trailers with side curtains. Bids may be submitted for a maximum of three lots: only one of Lots 1 and 2, only one of Lots 3 and 4, and Lot 5 may also be included. Price is the only award criterion; the evaluation considers the total contract charge or recovery revenue. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 6 October 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
