Data-protection-compliant disposal

Summary

The tender covers the secure collection, transport and destruction of AOK NordWest’s data-protection-sensitive paper, data carriers, electronic health cards, hard drives and stamps, as well as the disposal of other paper and cardboard. The service is divided into eight lots covering regions including Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Münsterland, Ruhrgebiet, Südwestfalen and northern and southern Schleswig-Holstein. The bidder must provide lockable containers, replace them on time and carry out destruction in accordance with ISO/IEC 21964. Data-protection-sensitive paper must be destroyed at level P4 and data carriers at level E5; the material must be destroyed on the same day and documented in a destruction record. The contract starts on 1 April 2027, initially runs for 24 months until 31 March 2029 and may be extended by up to two 12-month periods, with an absolute end date of 31 March 2031. The tender submission deadline is 5 October 2026 at 09:00. The tender must be submitted entirely in German and electronically; price is the only award criterion.
