R290 Supermarket Refrigeration – Uganda

Summary

The tender concerns the turnkey supply and installation of R290 hydrocarbon refrigeration systems for a supermarket in Kampala, Uganda. The scope includes design, manufacturing, factory testing, shipment, installation, commissioning, testing, supervision of the existing system’s decommissioning, technical documentation, training and two years of spare parts and consumables. The required equipment includes 16 plug-in display cabinets, 7 semi-plug-in multidecks, one gas cooler and one monoblock for a 41 m³ cold room. Key eligibility requirements are annual field turnover above EUR 200,000 in each of 2023, 2024 and 2025, at least three relevant reference projects from the previous three years, including at least one commercial refrigeration project, and an effective ISO 9001 quality management system with the required pressure-equipment quality audit evidence. The bidder must also provide a minimum five-working-day trial operation, a three-day on-site training course for up to ten participants, and a technical support hotline for at least the two-year warranty period.
