Procurement of Fibre Channel switches

Summary

This tender concerns the procurement and licensing of four Fibre Channel switches for a SAN infrastructure, including at least 3 years of manufacturer warranty/support (9x5, NBD). Each switch must be rack-mountable (1U) with at least 24 licensed Fibre Channel ports per switch, 64 Gbit/s per port, Auto-Negotiation, and backward compatibility to 32/16 Gbit/s Fibre Channel. Non-blocking switching, maximum fabric latency of 460 ns, at least one Inter-Switch Link per switch, and required transceivers (Single-Mode 64 Gbit/s up to 10 km; Multi-Mode 64 Gbit/s; two hot-plug redundant power supplies; Rail Kit). Certification of transceivers by the manufacturer; Fabric software licenses per switch (Fabric switching with native E-Port support); optional Access Gateway/NPV; extended Fabric services; data sheets and license documentation to be provided.
