Tender detail
Motor Vehicle Insurance
Summary
The tender concerns a framework agreement for motor third-party liability and comprehensive insurance for passenger cars and one tractor used by the Federal Agency for Post and Telecommunications, the Post Office Employees’ Health Insurance Fund and the named affiliated organisations. The insurance must cover the fleet as it stands during the contract. Required third-party liability limits are EUR 100 million combined for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, and EUR 15 million per injured person per vehicle. The comprehensive insurance deductible is EUR 500 per claim for BAnst PT, BeW and EW vehicles and EUR 300 for PBeaKK vehicles; the partial-comprehensive deductible is EUR 150 per claim for all vehicles. Leased vehicles require GAP cover. Vehicles of EW and PBeaKK require cover abroad, while roadside assistance policies must be issued for BAnst PT, BeW and EW vehicles. Annual fixed premiums must be quoted for each vehicle listed in the price sheet and must not depend on the no-claims class. Price is the sole award criterion, and the bid with the lowest evaluated annual price wins. The contract starts on 1 January 2027, runs for 12 months and may be extended three times for one year each, but ends no later than 31 December 2030. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 12:00 on 5 November 2026.
