Steelwork renovation of the Horizont Observatory at Hoheward

Summary

Regionalverband Ruhr is procuring the fabrication, supply and installation of steelwork for the Horizont Observatory on the Hoheward slag heap in Herten. The scope includes the meridian and equatorial arches, two additional supports, nine vibration dampers, and reinstatement of the observation markers, monitoring system and foundation grating covers. The works also include corrosion protection, surveying and workshop planning.
