Summary

The University of Siegen is procuring two types of cleaning services at its Adolf-Reichwein-Straße campus in Siegen-Weidenau: regular building cleaning (Lot 2A) and glass and window-frame cleaning (Lot 2B). Glass and frame cleaning is performed once a year in May or June; glass must be cleaned on both sides and frames inside and out. The standard annual cleaning area for this lot is 21,695.42 m², plus 334.15 m² of exterior surfaces on the glass dome and conservatory; cleaning the interior sides of the dome and conservatory is a special cleaning service. Regular building cleaning covers scheduled cycles for different buildings and room types, including replenishment of hygiene supplies. Cleanroom cleaning covers 325.78 m² of floor area and is subject to separate, strict procedures for work methods, materials and documentation. Bidders must submit an electronic bid in German, completed price forms and, for Lot 2A, calculation tables. A separate implementation plan is required for each lot; the Lot 2B plan may be no longer than five A4 pages in Arial 11. Lot 2A productivity values must fall within the specified ranges or the bid will be rejected. Lot 2A bids are evaluated on price (50 points), average productivity values (35) and the implementation plan (15); Lot 2B bids are evaluated on price (70) and the implementation and delivery plan (30). A site visit is strongly recommended, and the attendance record must be included with the bid. Bidders must demonstrate the required professional expertise and capacity and provide references for comparable work, along with the required declarations and register documents; the supplied documents do not state a minimum turnover threshold.
