GoS Southeast sleepers replacement program 2027

Summary

The tender concerns track construction and sleeper replacement works. Across approximately 115 km of track in six networks of the DB InfraGO AG Region Southeast, damaged sleepers will be replaced; mainly using heavy machinery. At stations and bottlenecks a conventional sleeper replacement is planned. With the installation of the new sleepers, ballast cleaning will also be performed. All works are to be carried out with minimal service interruptions. The project aims to improve network stability and availability in the Southeast region in 2027/28.
