Data Backup System Cologne
Summary
The ARD, ZDF and Deutschlandradio Contribution Service is procuring the renewal of the backup system at its Cologne data centre: a new ETERNUS CS8800 system, the required licences and switches to connect the physical tape libraries. The work includes delivery, installation, integration, configuration, data migration, testing and removal of the replaced hardware. The maintenance contract runs until 31 December 2029, with an option to extend it by 12 months until 31 December 2030; acceptance of the system must take place by 30 June 2027 at the latest.
